System Requirements
Prior to your login, please confirm that your system configurations meet our technical requirements.
Internet: To ensure an optimum online assessment experience, we recommend a wired, high-speed internet connection (e.g., DSL, cable modem or T1 line). If you decide to use a wireless connection to complete the assessments, please understand this risk: in the event there is a momentary internet connectivity problem, you may need to retake an assessment or survey (the system saves the results from each test/survey as you complete it, so all data prior to that affected test would have been saved). We have typically seen successful outcomes when a strong, stable wifi network is setup in the home. However, in the event the wireless connection falters, you need to be ready to plug the laptop or workstation into the wifi router.
Windows laptops / desktops: Use only Chrome Browser. Click here to download Chrome, or enter the URL www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser into your browser.
Apple laptops / desktops: Use Safari Browser (Chrome browser is okay too, if you prefer)
Take extra care:
While you are completing the online Advantage assessments, it is important to rely on the navigation buttons and tools that are part of the system. When you use the browser navigation arrows or buttons at the top of your screen, you have gone outside of the system and will experience problems. Do not run any other software, email, etc. while completing these assessments.
Testing Environment
Choose a quiet, interruption-free environment where you can focus on the assessments. This is critical for the Ball Aptitude Battery® (BAB) because each of these assessments is timed and a short interruption can impact your results.
Be sure you turn off all phones, music or other distractions, and let people know that you are not available.
General Instructions
Using the Client ID and Password provided to you at registration, log in to the secured Career Vision Advantage Assessment site. Type in your Client ID and Password exactly as provided. The letters in the Client ID and Password are all capitalized, so you may find it easier to have the “Caps Lock” key on.
Once you have logged in to your personalized Assessment Tracker, please confirm that your name and email are correct and current. If this information is inaccurate, please contact our office before you begin. The Assessment Tracker provides you with additional instructions about the assessments and surveys, and monitors your progress throughout the process. Click here to see a full list of the online assessments included in your Advantage package.
The BAB is a series of 13 timed assessments. You can expect it will take about 2.5 hours to complete, and the entire process to take over 3 hours to complete. We recommend that you complete the BAB in a single session. If that is not possible, it can be completed in as many as three separate sessions lasting approximately 45-60 minutes each.
